NAIT’s Treaty Days began with a tipi raising and pipe ceremony in the CAT quad. Each year, the Nîsôhkamâtotân Centre team raises a tipi with Cultural Advisor Lonny Potts leading a pipe ceremony inside afterwards.
Treaty Days will showcase Indigenous culture over three days with various events, including Métis jigging and fiddle music, drop-in beading at CAT and Pow wow dancing and drumming. To find out more, visit Ooks Life.
